Guidelines for Submission

You must read these guidelines carefully to understand the key requirements that communications must meet to be accepted.

The wording, syntax, spelling, and formal aspects of the abstract must be meticulously reviewed. Please consider the following aspects for the submission of communications:

  • Each communication must be submitted by email (cojin.organizacion@gmail.com) following the structure indicated in the «Oral Communication Submission Template«.
  • The length of the abstract is limited to 300 words.
  • If you have written your communication in a word processor, it is recommended that you use the «Word Count» function to check beforehand that the word count does not exceed the maximum permitted.
  • The communication abstract must complete ALL its sections: Introduction, Objectives, Materials and Methods, Results, and Conclusions. A bibliography is not required.
  • You may include a maximum of 5 keywords.
  • Failure to comply with the rules may prevent your communication from being accepted. Conversely, adherence to the rules facilitates the work of the Scientific and Organising Committees, contributes to effective communication with your colleagues, and positively impacts the quality of the congress.

Evaluation of Oral Communications

  • Each oral communication will be evaluated by two members of our Scientific Committee through a blind review process, meaning the authors’ identities will not be known to the reviewers.
  • Oral communications will be evaluated by scoring the following sections from 1 to 5 (where 1 is the lowest value and 5 the highest): originality, methodology, results, and conclusions.
  • The average score for each section will be calculated, followed by the sum of all sections to determine which communications have the highest scores.
  • The top-rated communications will be invited to present at the IV COJIIN.
